Two Things

I have discovered two new wonderful things, in light of my recent sadness. Do yourself a favor and get this right away (you won't be sorry):

This is the album Shake The Sheets by Ted Leo & The Pharmacists. I sampled it on Amazon and fell in love immediately. It has been in my earbuds ever since, I listened to it four times today at work. I'll probably match that tomorrow. Go to Amazon and check it out, Ted Leo is a band worth getting into.

Tonight I made myself a steak and vegetable dinner. I'm actually quite proud of that, since I typically just eat popcorn or a sandwich. I cooked the steak in a frying pan on the stove top, used Johnny's to season it. It was delicious, and the vegetables turned out great too (sugar snap peas, red peppers, and potatoes). With dinner I watched a movie on Netflix. I took a chance on an unknown and I'll tell you what, it couldn't have been a better movie. And with the recent execution of Osama Bin Laden, this movie was watched in timely fashion:
Brief summary: a satirical view into the lives of a group of British Muslim men who desire to become Jihadi suicide bombers. It is dark, smart, funny as fuck; the acting is superb and the movie is a complete blast (haha, pun intended). Seriously, you gotta watch this film!

  1. I don't have a penny to my name right now otherwise I would buy that album. I'm not even mad. That's amazing!
    Haha. :)
